The Link Meeting…

The Link meeting is a group that is linked together with a common goal to become healthier. We do so by using different methods of diets, exercise and encouraging one another to maintain these habits.

You don't have to attend our church or anywhere to attend these monthly meetings or to be added to our Facebook group. We meet the first Monday of each month and stay linked together through our Facebook group. Each meeting is different, but meetings usually highlight a new healthy recipe that everyone can sample.

Low-carb chocolate chip cookie

1c almond flour
1/2 and 2 TBSP coconut flour
1/2 tsp xanthum gum
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 c and 2 TBSP room temp butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup sweetener (Swerve granulated)
4TBSP truvia brown sugar
1/2 C of Hershey's sugar free chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat over to 350°. In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients. In another bowl beat sweetners, butter and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs. Then add bowl of dry ingredients to wet mixture. Cream together. Fold in chocolate chips. Refrigerate 20 min.
Measure dough into 1 TBSP balls, roll and place on baking sheet baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Flatten some with back of spoon (I prefer to smash a little between my palms because dough sticks to spoon some.)
Bake 10-13 minutes.
